Difference between Single Row and Multi-Row Tubing Condenser

The single row tubing requires more spacing than multi-row tubing. But single row tubing is more efficient than multi row tubing. This is because of that the surrounding air temperature is for single tubing is less than that of multi tubing. In multi tubing, the air temperature rises when it passes through each row of tubing. Hence the temperature difference between condensate and air decreases in each row of tubing. The temperature of air become too close to temperature of condensate, therefore the efficiency also decreases.
